The old man lived his life to a very old age, he saw a lot and understood a lot, learned lessons and the laws of life. Everything changed on his way: tasks changed, new people left and came, health was lost, but one thing remained unchanged, unshakable - faith. Going on his last journey, the old Jew takes away his most precious thing - he takes away the native and warm walls of his "soul", he takes away the home of the entire Jewish people - the synagogue.
