Homage to the spiritual home of Father Chagall No. 2

Price: $42000

The figures of Chagall Jr. and his beloved wife Bella are made of light and very fragile pink onyx. Selected by color, this beautiful stone easily conveys the feeling of ephemeral memories of Mark's past life, which is connected, according to the plot, with his childhood in the Vitebsk monastery on the street "Revolyutsionnaya, 12".

The synagogue stands on lush green grass, as bright as crystal memories of old Vitebsk.

The amazing sky is made of rare semi-precious onyx of a milky hue. Children's soap bubbles immediately pop up in memory: light, iridescent, symbolizing a carefree childhood and only optimistic dreams about the future. A magnificent dove carrying a golden olive branch is aimed at the ruins of the synagogue, as a memory of the life of the Jewish people, their trials and again life, built next to the ruins, but still retaining the former warmth of the spiritual home of the small homeland.

The impressive marble frame, the color of a dusty rose, shows us that, as if there is a continuation of this story, the plot does not end with what is presented on the panel, but goes further, expanding, like time, with delicate veins of natural stone.

The panel combines everything that is surprisingly warm and close to each of us: warm and touching memories of our parents, the first spiritual experience, the first love, such a tart sense of closeness with the lost small homeland and, of course, the desire to be happy.
